You'll have time to visit 1 or 2 carefully selected winery tours in this half day excursion from Bordeaux. In the Saint Emilion or the Margaux wine region, you will find the two most famous wine producing regions of the area, Saint Emilion and the Medoc. Combining both sightseeing with a visit to one of the wineries will allow the opportunity to get the feel of the area. The Saint Emilion is a perfect introduction, but if you are eager to find out more about the wines of Bordeaux, then the Medoc wine producing area is the best Bordeaux destination for you.
In Saint Emilion, you can experience a visit and an informative wine tasting session in a carefully selected winery. After your visit, you could stop at the village of Saint Emilion and follow your guide on a short walking tour, followed by some free time in this beautiful medieval village.
